Wake me up when it ends

OMG. Hyperventilating starts NOW.

Cymbal practice! I felt so weird in my school uniform.

Met Guin at Wheelock. Stupid me was late because I got carried away with blogging (previous post). Ate at this awesome place. Not so awesome for my wallet pathetic coin pouch though.

And then CYMBALS!!! Oh how I miss clanging (I didn't play the cymbals today though T.T) and how I miss doing the drum (I did the drum the whole time!)

I'm incredibly proud of them omg, such quick and dedicated learners. They finished a third of the sequence today :D When Cassandra - the Sec 4 Discipline Mistress when I was in Sec 1 - taught Amanda Ang, Eudea, Shermin and I the cymbals, I was such a pathetic, slow learner. I feel like a mother hen who's glowing with pride at her little yellow (LITERALLY, check out our school uniform HAHAHA) chicks! *clucks proudly*

I'm watching the videos of us doing it now. Karen the Cymbalist on the drum LOL. I messed up a little in some areas and in the video of Shermin and Eudea and myself doing it I look really stupid because I look like I'm...ah-lian-slapping the drum. -.-

Oh gosh I'm really happy with them. And Zhen Hui and Esther even stayed back after the rest of them had left because they wanted me to teach them how to play the drum. I was like "ME???" Hahaha it's so weird because I never learnt how to play it in the first place! In Crescent I was always a cymbalist; I guess it's just that after listening to the drum for so long I naturally picked it up.

So while the two of them were learning the drum sequence...

Guin, Shermin and Eudea got bored and they started talking about JC etc. Eh did you guys talk about anything important about JC that I should know?

So the both of them learnt the first-third of the sequence for both the drum and the cymbals! Aww gosh I'm so proud of the both of them, so willing to learn. And they were very anxious about getting it right. Good job juniors! If I remember I'll bring sweets/gummies or something for you guys next Wednesday because I'm so happy with you guys that I'm willing to part with a bit of cash. Lol.

You know what I realised? Eudea and Shermin are doing the peace signs, and I happen to be doing it too - with the drumsticks! HAHA.

We all look weird in this so we're equal!
