Yesterday we went to the atomic bomb Peace Park in Nagasaki, there were a lot of statues and erm this particularly big one that's supposed to be very famous, with one hand pointing to the sky (where the atomic bomb dropped) and the other hand pointing towards the ground. He's supposed to be praying for peace or something.
Went to the hypocenter too heh.
Today we went to the atomic bomb museum. Idk, I mean, of course I sympathize with the people, they were innocent people but their lives were destroyed and everything, they all suffered terrible burns and so many people died, some were even reduced to ashes immediately because of the intense heat waves and everything, it was really sad. But like, they weren't the only innocent lives lost what, the Japanese soldiers invaded so many countries and tortured and killed even more innocent people. In fact, everyone who were tortured or killed by the Jap were innocent, it was them who decared the war. Of course the innocent people in Japan shouldn't have suffered, but if you only wanted to kill the guilty, there was only a small group of people you could kill. Even the soldiers aren't guilty in that case. It's not their fault their country declared war what.
Idk. The innocent lives in Hiroshima and Nagasaki shouldn't have be
en lost, but those innocent lives in Malaya and Korea and all the countries the Japanese invaded shouldn't have been lost too. Nobody did anything to deserve to be tortured and killed by the Japanese.
And if the Japanese didn't declare war and go around destroying other countries, this wouldn't have happened to them right? :/
